Heat Forward Michael Beasley is looking to put behind him a difficult off season and build on a good rookie year. Looking to become the starting small forward, Beasley struggled in his pre season debut. Playing only four minutes before having to leave due to foul trouble was not the start he was looking for. But the foul problems is one problem that can be fixed. Beasley has spent much time this off season working on his outside game. During training camp the out side shot looked good. The addition of the jump shot to his game is something that could make him very dangerous. It will also help open things up for Wade to drive and kick it to him. The Heat have some holes in the roster this year, but if Beasley can build on last year and make improvements, things could be alright on South Beach.
